It’s unclear how long the splice being recorded in to is here to get this effect. Is it a whole reel, or 10 seconds long? This massively affects how much material will get built up in the reel.

I just watched Cinematic Labs do a video on using the DUSG as an oscillator. Kept comparing it to Maths because he has been using it for years. Serge “patch programming” is kind of what it is known for but there’s no reason you can’t do it with other gear. Function generators are becoming my favorite electrical toys:)

wow the sonic possibilities are endless with this thing! i notice in most of the demo videos that the keyboard/controller is just connected with MIDI instead of CV/Gate -- do you guys recommend a keyboard/controller that also can do CV/Gate or can everything be achieved with just that one MIDI input?
